Past Issues of Making It Square
Welcome to the archive of Making It Square.
Every month I sit down with a cup of tea and write about making, creativity, life, and whatever seems to be rattling around in my head at the time.
Sometimes it's about woodworking. Sometimes it's about getting stuck. Sometimes it's about friendship, family, growing older, or finding the courage to start something new.
There isn't really a right place to begin.
Feel free to dip in wherever you like.
One Year of Making It Square
When I sent the first issue of Making It Square in June 2025, I had no real idea where it would lead.
Twelve issues later, it's become one of the most rewarding things I do.
Not because of subscriber numbers or statistics, but because of the sense of connection it has created.
Each month I write something personal and send it out into the world. Each month people reply with their own stories, thoughts, experiences and reflections.
What began as a newsletter has slowly become a conversation.
For that, I'm incredibly grateful.
Thank you for reading.
And thank you for being part of it.
